Yacht holidays in Turkey are always a lot of impressions and an opportunity to get to know Turkey and enjoy its nature, history from the sea. Marmaris and Fethiye, Oludeniz and Sarsala and much more.
The Saronic Islands are the closest group of islands to Athens and each island is unique in its own way. Aegina is the island of pistachios, Hydra has absolutely no transport except donkeys and horses, and Poros attracts with its coziness and beautiful bay.
This yacht trip starts in the ancient city of Trogir. And depending on the chosen route, you will see the island of Hvar and Vis, the Pakleni Islands, the Blue Lagoon and the beautiful city of Korcula.
Yachting is one of the most interesting types of recreation and travel that you can imagine, because many interesting and beautiful places are visible only from the water and can only be reached by sea. For example, did you know that Croatia has 1145 islands and only 47 of them are inhabited? Or Greece, for example, has more than 6000 islands and 237 inhabited. And how many beautiful towns and places are located on the coast…
A yacht vacation is a special kind of vacation that allows you to truly disconnect from all your problems, immerse yourself in the elements of the sea, sun and white sails. A change of ports, a change of cities, new impressions… For some reason, complete strangers meet you on the shore, catch your mooring line, help tie the yacht to the pier and sincerely smile at you. At the same time, everyone speaks different languages, but everyone understands each other, because all these people are united by their love for yachting.
The myth about the high cost of yachting quickly dissipates after elementary mathematical calculations. For example, let’s take the same Turkey, where there are many inexpensive flights from Ukraine and where you can go boating eight months a year. Considering the flight at 200-250 euros per person, the cost of a place on a yacht is 400 euros, we get about 600-650 euros per person per week. Additionally, you will have to spend money on parking, food (in restaurants) another 150-200 euros. Total – about 800 euros per person for a week’s vacation on a yacht. Local hotels with the “all inclusive” system, where tourists sit in one place, not seeing the Turkish beauty, are definitely not cheaper.
When traveling on a yacht, everything is seen from the other, “sea” side. Travelers get the opportunity to get to places that are inaccessible from land: cozy bays with turquoise water, tiny uninhabited islands, local restaurants on steep cliffs that are oriented only towards yachtsmen, volcanoes or grottoes. It is important to understand: the boat in this case is not a permanent place of residence, but only a means of transport that delivers a curious traveler from one place to another.
But the main point of a yacht tour is to sail, not to arrive.
The crew is also a small family, because it is a team of adventurers, but without hard physical exertion and everyday discomfort. This is a complete immersion in the country in an eventful journey, with the opportunity to see the life of the country from the inside, having visited amazing places that are difficult for ordinary tourists to reach. And you do not need to look for a new home, a new hotel anywhere … All this is on board your yacht in the company of your loved ones and friends. Also, the ship usually has maps, port plans, lighthouse books.
